You can see that the creators were starting to flounder a bit and didn't know where to go next. I think the new digital version will be interesting in this regard, but I'm quite glad that the original series ended with this battle because there wasn't much more to tell, at least not with this low-budget action style. Definitely the worst installment of the whole series.
