An interesting idea, which has quite a lengthy preparation for what comes afterward. Unfortunately, what comes isn't as stunning as the filmmakers probably would have liked, and it ends up being just a film with untapped potential that could have been pretty dark but isn't. Instead, it wants to be almost poetic.
