A sci-fi about a group of cosmonauts who land on a distant planet. There they find strange eggs that hide in their shells what the cosmonauts longed for -- enormous wealth. While they are getting ready to take off one egg captures a cosmonaut who suffocates in its tentacles just like Laokoon was killed by snakes in the old Greek myth.
