Daimadžin ikaru

Daiei Studios never achieved the same level of fame as the kaiju monsters of Toho Studios. But those films remain, and I can confidently say that The Return of Giant Majin is a movie that is definitely worth watching. In addition to its relatively short runtime, there are scenes here that are simply good - they are excellently filmed, and their impact remains undiminished even after years. That's a good endorsement for a kaiju genre film. (26.10.2014)
