Mikel Rueda

Mikel Rueda studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of Navarre and Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy. He has directed and produced, among others, the short films El carrito (2003), Érase una vez (2004), In the Laundry (2006) and Present Perfect (2007), Best Screenplay Award at the Bilbao Festival. His first feature, Izarren Argia – Estrellas que alcanzar, was screened in the New Directors section at the Zinemaldia 2010. The second, A escondidas, participated in the Official Selection at the Malaga Festival. His documentary Quinta planta was presented in Zinemira.
