Girl in the Basement

I'm quite amazed and astonished that this B-movie with B-movie production and B-movie actors managed to impress on such a high level. The whole Fritzl case is presented in a quite thoughtful and informative way and although the filmmaking is mediocre, I found myself digging into my seat at times and even getting quite sweaty from the suspense towards the end. A decent one-off, which probably won't offend anyone and can be quite a shock to weaker characters. (21.11.2021)
