I remember how pleasantly surprised I was by Jeeg at the Karlovy Vary film festival. So, I had high hopes for the director’s next film and eagerly dove in. Technically, there's not much to criticize. It feels like a unique blend of Guillermo del Toro and Terry Gilliam, filled with imaginative ideas that immediately draw you in. However, there are almost too many ideas, and at times, it borders on chaotic mess. Ultimately, that's what it is — a technically impressive, entertaining mess.
