Such a strange episode. The detective case isn't great, but it's not bad. It is indeed mysterious. But from the actual case, the viewer's attention is completely diverted because what's much more significant is that even in Poirot's life, there's room for love or romance, or whatever else you might call it. In that respect, the film works well.
