Poirot tęskni za zagadką kryminalną, którą mógłby rozwiązać. Nudę przerywa śmierć jego sąsiadki. Detektyw rozpoczyna śledztwo, w którym nieoczekiwanym tropem staje się bigamia. (FilmBox)

The biggest problem with The Third Floor Flat is that the viewer has almost no chance to participate in the search for the perpetrator, as Poirot manages to uncover him within a few minutes and almost half of the running time consists of a chase between the police and the criminal on the run, which is unusual in this series, but I prefer cases that keep me in suspense until the final minutes. ()
It looks completely innocent at first, but then it turns into a very interesting detective case that kept me entertained pretty much from start to finish. It's that type where you just have to know how everything unfolded and why, even though you essentially don't have the opportunity to identify the murderer's identity, just like Poirot didn't in the play. Of the first five episodes, this one entertained me the most. ()
