Struggling to cope with daily life after the loss of his lover in a gay hate crime, Leonardo and his best friend Juliet, a survivor of sexual assault, come together for one final evening. As they both come face to face with their demons, ‘Sonnet’ is a reflection of the self-destructive aftermath that abuse and discrimination leave in their wake, while reminding us of the immense power of friendship.
