Abe is a burgeoning perv with a guilty conscience. Todd is Abe’s spazzed out BFF and partner in grime. Chaz is a girl with a boy’s name who hides her feelings behind a thick layer of goth eyeliner. Ricky is the star jock with a secret in his pants he dare not expose. What these uptight dweebs could never have guessed is that the wholesome movie theater they work at used to have a lot more than just gum stuck to the seats. When a remnant of the theater’s porno past surfaces, the kids are visited by a sex demon that gives them a taste of the dark side. (South by Southwest Film Festival)

angielski Porno is the epitome of scriptwriting gone wrong. Every character is horrendously clichéd, making them unbearable and cringeworthy. Their painfully dull interactions almost drove me to chew through my own wrists. The film's runtime is unnecessarily long given its boring plot — most of it is filled with tedious and unfunny dialogues where the main idiots incessantly debate what's acceptable in Christianity. The provocative title might attract viewers, only for them to realize it's a relatively tame affair, packed with awkward nonsense and lackluster execution. It barely earns one star if that. I'm not even sure what for. Maybe for the impressive depiction of a mutilated penis... maybe. ()

angielski There is a rather fertile subject matter buried deep in this movie somewhere, although it is not anything that we could not get out of some other movies (Lamberto Bava’s Demons especially comes to mind), but it could still be at least a well-made horror B-movie. However, due to the tiresome and worn-out screenplay, plus the completely incompetent directing, this is almost an unwatchable affair. They attempted to produce a movie, that at the start was supposed to be a mash-up of horror and comedy, but by the end it just did not matter anymore, because it is simply utterly tedious and garrulous rubbish for Christian youth with a stupidly puritanical message that pornography is evil. However, despite that, there are hardly any explicit scenes in the movie, so the sensational title is just a kind of lure for the audience. It was quite an ordeal to finish watching this. angielski Despite the suggestive title and exciting story of teenage cinema employees who accidentally discover a cursed pornographic film strip in the early 1990s and evoke a female sexual demon during its screening, the film is a rather chaste and moralizing comedy horror whose message is that porn it is evil and that fornicators are in danger of having their genitals brutally devastated (which you get to enjoy up close in one scene). The poorly written and annoying main characters are members of Christian youth who manage not to cross themselves when looking at a shameful poster, and the film is more based on their dialogues than on exploitation scenes, but they are dull, humourless, toothless and unable to stimulatingly take advantage of contemporary motifs, such as access to pornography before the internet and homosexuality as something unnatural. This film amounts to unenjoyable trash that is really not worth the few seconds of naked breasts the audience gets to see. ()
