Ib i Edward mają już dość swoich żon oraz dotychczasowego życia i chętnie zakosztowaliby na nowo swobody. Przy kieliszku snują misterny plan, a potem wynajmują płatnego zabójcę, który ma im pomóc odzyskać wolność. Dużo oszczędniej jest zatrudnić mordercę na zlecenie, niż rozwieść się po kilkunastu latach małżeństwa! Przyjaciele nie doceniają jednak swoich żon i nieoczekiwanie to oni muszą zacząć obawiać się o swoje życie. (M2 Films)

I like Danish cinema a lot, but I didn't really like this crazy black comedy. It's not exactly a screenwriting gem and some of the jokes were awkward. But seeing Nicolas Bro dancing salsa was a truly extraordinary experience. I almost split my sides laughing. All in all, the cast was good, and all the actors showed that they have comedy potential. And Søren Malling as the "savvy" criminalist masterfully convinced me that in terms of intelligence, the Danish police are no match for ours. (55%)

This film almost has the makings of being a cult film, but it doesn't succeed - it just doesn't get to the bigger bizarre, or it doesn’t have enough good jokes to really get you interested. In the end, the story isn't even great enough to make it worth watching. I'm quite sad that the creators didn't put a bit more of an edge into it.

I do love Viking films and series, but this was really sneaky of the Danish filmmakers. The worst part for me was that the movie got increasingly stupid as time went on, so sticking it out to the end was quite a challenge. I awarded a star for explaining why the English don't like their bodies, otherwise the film was unfunny as hell.

At first, it seems that the idiots are just the two sexually frustrated amateurs, but gradually everyone joins in. It's entertaining in some details, but the viewer has to avoid thinking too deeply about how ridiculous it all is. Being a successful killer and looking at the bottom of a bottle a hundred times more often than through a rifle scope requires a broad Russian soul. The scene where Marcin Dorociński's Igor Lihor gets into the head of an Afghan taxi driver is simply top-notch. So much negative energy in such a small space.

My favourite Ole Bornedal is back and he is excellent again. This time instead of a horror film, he delivers a very bitter and black-humored thriller-driven comedy and both sides work perfectly. The acting is spot on, the jokes are polished, the assassins are amazing (I won't forget the drunken Russian assassin Igor). I had a great time. 80%.
