This is probably one of the better Steven Seagal films in the last two decades — at least from a technical standpoint. The fight scenes, surprisingly, are actually visible, which is a definite plus. The final sword fight even reminded me of one of his past disasters, but here it actually worked. The downside is the story, and especially the endless wisdom Seagal spouts. If he had just kept quiet and walked through the scenes, it would have been much better.
