Opisy(1)

Przez wiele lat tajemniczy Bezimienny Mnich (Chow Yun-Fat) strzegł starożytnego zwoju – Zwoju Najwyższej Władzy – w którym ukryty był klucz do niezmierzonej potęgi. Teraz Mnich musi znaleźć następcę, kolejnego Strażnika Zwoju. Kar (Seann William Scott) to wątpliwy kandydat, którego interesuje głównie własna osoba. Gdy jednak uratuje Mnicha z niewoli, połączą swe siły, by razem ocalić świat przed najbardziej zażartym i bezlitosnym poszukiwaczem Zwoju. (Monolith)

angielski This is something that actors of calibre of Fat and Roden really don’t need. I felt genuinely sorry for them throughout this boring, uninteresting, horribly shot film with cheap effects and awfully childish humour. ()

angielski Viewers who are more positively inclined towards the "made in Hong Kong" brand probably won't be able to forgive Chow Yun-Fat for the way he was willing to dole it out with them, but I just don't feel right taking down positive action spectacles. The excellent Seann William Scott, hints of bullet time, verbal and literal shootouts, and the feeling that the bad ratings are mainly because everyone used to read Premiere, which blasted Bulletproof Monk as an unwatchable B-movie. More than ten years after its premiere, Kar and co. grow on you as a pure guilty pleasure. ()

angielski It could have been a solid action flick with a weak story, it could have been one of those “smart” action films, and it could have easily been an easygoing B-movie, but the only word that comes to my mind after it ended is: nonsense. Glaring CGI Matrix-like visual effects, bad editing, confusing camera work. The acting is average, yet with great potential. ()
