The Russian Captivity was more successful than "Švejk na frontě", but I personally preferred the first film by Lamač, "Dobrý voják Švejk". Svatopluk Innemann directed the Russian Captivity and the new direction benefited the series. It is full of humor that works, the short film is definitely not boring, and overall, there is definitely something to laugh at and have fun with. ()
