La Belle Noiseuse tells the story of an artist (Michel Piccoli) who ten years previously, abandons his greatest masterpiece, a painting of his wife (Jane Birkin) entitled "La Belle Noiseuse". His inspiration is rekindled when he encounters the beautiful and fascinating Marianne (Emmanuelle Beart) to return to the unfinished canvas using her as his new model. As the new work begins, disturbing tensions begin to develop and the reasons for the painting's original rejection begin to surface. (Accent Film Entertainment)
