Thomas Jane, with a Jim Morrison hairstyle, clumsily fumbles around, and pseudo-tough guy Cusack seems most concerned about whether the color will start fading from his hair. A buddy movie should be about two entirely different characters entertaining the audience with their forced interaction, not about having both of them being equally irritating. Exploitation filmmaker Brian Trenchard-Smith sang his swan song for the last time, and the result is undernourished action, minimal conversational gems, and overall impact equivalent to Agent Brown's spoken performance. I’m convinced that if they had done it all in that Hyundai Getz instead of the Mustang, the result would have been the same.

I came in with no expectations, but in the end, I had a great time because this is simply a pleasant, relaxed film with good characters and great actors to root for. Thomas Jane shows that in collaboration with Cusack, he delivers a performance that is simply good. As I say, it’s nothing great, but if you want a decent action B-movie that's sometimes funny, give this a try.
