(Imperial Cinepix)

I’m glad that good American comedies can be made by people that I personally have no clue about. Like Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr., who aren’t exactly familiar faces I’d see on TV a lot. Just like I don’t really know the director Luke Greenfield. The result was unparalleled. Two idiots have nothing to do and so they start to pretend they’re cops. It’s just as stupid as it sounds, but on the other hand, it’s a whole lot of fun. ()
In the end, the comedy actually impressed me quite well, even though I expected it to be very bad, with a lot of overacting and not making much sense. It does make sense, even though the story is not particularly fascinating. However, it is well-executed and easily reaches an average level. The members of the Wayans family, when they're not overacting, entertain me quite a bit. ()
