Thomas (Max Boublil) marzy o komponowaniu piosenek. Tymczasem w jego życiu pojawia się Lola. Konieczność zarobienia na ślub, dom i przyszłą rodzinę powoduje, że z obiecującego muzyka staje się szarym wyrobnikiem na urzędniczym etacie. Podczas wizyty u przyszłych teściów: Gilberta (Alain Chabat) i Suzanne, jego świat wywraca się do góry nogami. Gilbert wyniszczony monotonią trzydziestoletniego małżeństwa postanawia uchronić Thomasa przed popełnieniem życiowego błędu - poślubieniem młodszej kopii swojej żony. Chce pokazać chłopakowi, że szczęście tkwi jak najdalej od stabilnego, rodzinnego życia. Just as The Raid 2 represents the top of the action genre for me, The Brats represents the top of the comedy genre!! This is such an incredible ride, it's hard to believe. You can feel the beautiful French feeling and atmosphere, the film radiates a very positive energy, there are very likeable actors, especially Elisa Sednaoui is adorable, and most importantly, there are a lot of jokes and incredible and unconventional scenes that will make you grab your stomach and kiss the carpet, whether you are laughing or sad!! I really haven't laughed this loud in a long time. The humour is quite cheeky, sincere and sometimes naughty, but a lot of exceptional ideas make up for it. This comedy is guaranteed not to leave you cold, unless you're frigid.
