Szybki cash II opowiada o dalszych losach Johana "JW" Westlunda, biednego taksówkarza, który został handlarzem narkotyków. Wracamy do niego po trzech latach. JW (Joel Kinnaman) spędził je w celi razem ze swoim dawnym wrogiem, sparaliżowanym po postrzale, Mrado. W więzieniu zaprzyjaźniają się i są wobec siebie lojalni. W trakcie odsiadki JW tworzy oprogramowanie, które chce sprzedać po opuszczeniu więzienia i uczciwie na nim zarobić. W trakcie przepustki Johan dowiaduje się, że kolega, z którym miał rozkręcić interes, jest zwykłym oszustem i ukradł jego projekt. Johan bez pieniędzy i mieszkania znów musi szukać szybkiej kasy. Futile waiting for brighter tomorrows, overexposed shots, and late regret on the journey toward the light. The same mistakes, and the same signs. If you haven’t seen the first part, you’ll be staring at all those intense Balkans and their buddies like a deer in the headlights at Stockholm's Globen arena. You won’t understand how JW and Mrado can be in the same cell after the previous events. I, on the other hand, don't understand why Kinnaman is an actor.

The first movie wasn’t quite so bad, but there were far too few Swedes and far too few charismatic people. The sequel is exactly the same deal and it’s not very entertaining to have to go through it again.
