Fan Vavrincova's TV series called “Takova normalni rodinka” (An Ordinary Family) has belonged to the greatest and most popular ones for three decades, being loved by new generations of viewers over and over again. The RODINKA (Family) movie is a sequel based on this series – and again by Fan Vavrincova! We meet our “old” favorite characters: Pavla, Kaca, Zdenek or the menace-twins (who became grown-up men in their best years) as well as “new” members who extended the wide family range during those thirty years since its debut. What is likable about this encounter is that the RODINKA of today inherited the original sense of humor, the kind kinkiness, liking for wild-cat ideas or endless tolerance; and we still see a small community of people loving one another and cherishing the family and its bonds as the most important.
