angielski He came like this Scandinavian director to Hollywood to show what he's made of. He asked for a budget that wasn't huge, but the producers gladly gave it to him because he had an idea. An idea within a psychological story that takes place at a school, in a student environment, and includes elements of drama, romance, and horror, which will not disappoint any of us. In addition, the main roles are played by two actresses, whom he chose by picking the cheap, yet still sexy options, that will be nice to look at. The girls then walk around in panties in the movie and it all has that student vibe, before everything goes to hell and the psycho-horror analysis of the environment begins. Totally typical, but not bad within such movies. The girls were nice to look at, the tension was also not bad. If it wasn't so artificial, I would even give more. But here it was completely clear, but since I managed to take a shower, shave, make myself food, and prepare for the trip out, I don't have such a big problem with the movie and I don't consider it a significant waste of time. The second half even started quite nicely and the tension could be cut with a razor. ()

angielski I have to admit, I was rooting for Rebecca the whole time! Leighton handled the character of the crazy psycho with aplomb. The story may be simple and the ending rather far-fetched, but I was still riveted. The cast was great in my opinion! Excellent as a drama and a light thriller. ()

angielski A film that wants to be scary with things like pulling out a navel piercing, a kitten in a washing machine and tattoos!!! The horror... An utterly pointless take on the premise of a psychopath at work / in the neighbourhood / in a hotel… I certainly can’t recommend The Roommate, but at the same time, it’s not that terrible, it’s too well made for that.
