Lloyd, szofer limuzyny, marzy o kobiecie, która będzie podzielać jego poglądy. Pewnego dnia wiezie na lotnisko Mary, piękną kobietę z wyższych sfer. Podczas jazdy zwierza się pasażerce z najskrytszych marzeń, a ona słucha go z uwagą i milczy. Lloyd jest przekonany, że trafił wreszcie na wymarzoną partnerkę. Gdy docierają na lotnisko, szofer z rozrzewnieniem śledzi każdy jej krok. Zauważa, że dziewczyna zostawia na lotnisku teczkę. Postanawia wykorzystać okazję. An incredible parade of stupidity and one of the few comedies that can withstand a proper dose of foul humour while retaining the gloss of a funny affair that entertains even repeatedly.

Some things simply don't age, but they just lose a bit of their vitality over time. The movie never seemed so drawn-out to me before, but this time I really noticed the dead spots. However, that doesn't change the fact that there are great jokes and that the duo is so dumb that it simply delights. Jim Carrey is absolutely fantastic and mesmerizingly crazy, while Jeff Daniels complements him so well it's almost dangerously good. Surprisingly, even the story isn't poorly constructed.
