Based on George Bernard Shaw's play of the same name, "Devil's Disciple" is a biting, satiric study of how the bumbling British lost the Colonies in the War of Independence. The story focuses on the Reverend Anthony Anderson, a peaceful man who is driven into rebellion by English injustices, and Richard Dudgeon, a self-described cowardly rascal, who has more piety and backbone than he cares to admit.
