A vicious gang commits an explosive theft of an armored vehicle carrying $100 million dollars, killing a number of civilians including a woman in a nearby jewelry shop. The gang then reemerges six months later and critically injures two policemen during a routine spot check. As a result of these events, Detective Chan Chun vows to avenge the death of his fiancee, and Trainee Inspector Fong Yik-wei wants payback for the assault of the police officers who were under his charge. Along with Wai King-ho, a rookie cop whose older brother has been missing for some time, Chan and Fong infiltrate the Hong Kong underworld and discover just how well-connected the criminals really are. An action flick that can't leave anyone cold. It stars Nicholas Tse and Shawn Yue as good cops going against Jacky Wu and his bad ass cronies. The film has an incredible pace that runs like a Swiss watch, a very good story with some interesting twists and turns, stunning visuals and most importantly perfect fights, especially in the first hour. In the second hour Benny Chan slows down and blows us away in the finale, where once again the unbeatable Jacky Wu fights against two bad guys and gets the adrenaline pumping very fast. The final fight is one for the top list. Benny Chan is very talented arm and he put me on the edge of my seat with this film. An action film with all the right stuff. 95%
