angielski As it is the case in many movies, if you don't stop this or that, the apocalypse and the end of the world will come. Dragon Wars offers nothing new, for the most part. When I found out that the film cost "only" a little over $30 million, I was surprised, after all, many films with several times the budget have done worse. The visual effects were decent, despite my expectations, and fell into the cinematic cesspool of the shark "movies" of recent years, for example. I don't complain about the actors in films of this type (here it might have been possible). Excellent final battle of "biblical" proportions. Overall 50%. ()

angielski Just a few minutes in, I had to nod approvingly at how well-executed the tricks are in this film. Seriously. It's kind of pseudo-epic, but those tricks do stand out, even after seven years since this Korean oddity was released. The film wanted to ride on the popularity of fantasy movies and connect them with the modern world. The story is silly, the acting even more so, the jokes didn't really work except for one. But yeah. This is a fairly typical B-movie that I can handle. Nothing groundbreaking, but it didn't waste an hour and a half of my time. ()
