The Thirteenth Doctor is back in this six-part Event Serial adventure. Starring Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill and John Bishop, the Doctor is questioning everything about her past and is searching for answers. Packed with action, humour, terrifying new villains, and iconic returning monsters such as the Sontarans and the Weeping Angels, Doctor Who: Flux tells one story across a vast canvas. From Liverpool to the depths of space, via the Crimean War and a planet named Atropos, which shouldn’t even exist, fighting old foes and new creatures from beyond our dimension, the Doctor and company face a race against (and through!) time to uncover a universe-spanning mystery: what is the Flux? angielski Once in her third year, Doctorka got where the remnants of the fan base wished her to be. To my beloved Liverpool! Uhm, I mean... To a real space adventure, stretched out over the entire (albeit short) series. And so, when the sixth episode of Flux is supposed to be about the fate of a huge number of people, races, planets, or galaxies, let it be worth it and let all possible iconic enemies stand up. Maybe it's just a sprawling space opera, but that's exactly what I've been waiting for and even though it never deviates from genre boundaries this time, I wouldn't trade it for another. I will always like this hesitant, sensitive, considerate, and doubting heroine, because out of all well-known regenerations, she is the least childish, carefree, self-confident, but precisely because of that, in many respects the most considerate and understandable. Even if the legacy of her era is to be just that, it is enough for me to surprisingly be moved to satisfaction. ()
