angielski John Wayne is still one of those actors I haven’t fully warmed up to yet. Cahill, U.S. Marshal is your typical classic Western—heroic music, a family-centered plot with a moral lesson, and, of course, Wayne in a solid leading role. But man, those kids drove me nuts. Their over-the-top intelligence was irritating the entire time. The best line? "Four men are gonna hang for something they didn't do...and they're just sitting fishing." ()

angielski Another excellent meeting of generations where you can clearly see how much of an icon the Duke is. In this case, the screenwriters gave him some personal issues where he doesn't get along too well with his sons because his work as an American marshal was more important to him. But it's time for that to change. The film has a good pace and can be watched without getting bored. ()

angielski A decent western with the classiest possible John Wayne in the typical role of a proper tough guy who’s never far from delivering a punch or a wisecrack. Action, suspense, a joke here and there, a pleasant atmosphere and Bernstein's sensational music. ()
