Peter Sellers plays Harold Fine, a mild-mannered Jewish lawyer rapidly approaching middle-age. He has an overbearing mother, a bland fiancé, and a life that seems doomed to be forever "square." His world flips upside down when he runs into Nancy (Leigh Taylor-Young), a groovy flower-power girl who cooks a mean batch of "hash brownies." Faster than you can say "Helter-Skelter," Harold grows out his hair, trades in his briefcase for bellbottoms, and dives into the free-lovin' scene of the swinging sixties. Eventually, however, Harold has to face that fact that he's not completely cut out for the hippie lifestyle. (oficjalny tekst dystrybutora)
