This controversial film portrays the fragile fatherly relationship of a veteran coming back to Belgrade after ten years in prison with an autistic girl who has crossed his path in post-war Serbia. The director daringly uses autism as a metaphor of Serbia's behaviour during the civil war. He criticises the attitude of his country, and on an example of a single story, he demonstrates the trauma and despair of all war survivors. (Summer Film School)
