All the beliefs, prejudices, and preferences that I had associated with Asian cinema received a serious blow a few years back. When ...ing ended before my eyes, the emotional impact gained unimaginable strength, the tears did not want to stop flowing, and I couldn't even speak for several hours. Some romances will remain in your soul forever. And though this one may not be without its flaws, it will remain immortal precisely because of them and because of several heartwarmingly perfect scenes. (21.06.2006)

This "work" doesn't even strike me as a movie, more like a feather that stroked my arm and made me feel something. And although I think South Korea has far more elaborate films, this is one of the ones that touched me the most. I guess I'm still absorbing it all though, because I feel like it didn’t end with the ending. It's pointless to judge the script and the acting here when I think the actors weren't acting and the script was reality. (21.07.2011)
