Nick Beam wraca wcześniej do domu. Odkrywa, że żona go zdradza. Z pozostawionej na stoliku wizytówki wynika, że owym mężczyzną jest jego szef, Phillip Barrow. Nick przeżywa szok. Nie żądając żadnych wyjaśnień, wybiega z domu. Krąży po mieście samochodem, gdy niespodziewanie dopada go drobny złodziejaszek, T. Paul, mierząc do niego z broni. Zdesperowany mężczyzna porywa napastnika, wywożąc go za miasto. (Paramount Channel)

angielski An excellent action comedy. Tim Robbins' life comes crashing down when he catches his wife with another man, and from that point on things go downhill. He is ambushed in his car by a street thug, Martin Lawrence, but he takes his breath away with his fearlessness and hits the gas, giving us a great buddy road movie where a cultured and respectable man becomes criminal number one. I laughed solidly thanks to perfect moments, fine twists, irony and dark humour. I'll never forget the dancing officer. 80%. ()

angielski A decent, but not particularly outstanding comedy, which relies on the character acting of Tim Robbins and the stereotypical acting of Martin Lawrence in the lead roles. In the first few minutes, it is truly refreshing and reminiscent of the provocative approaches of the American independent scene. However, after the first fifteen minutes, the screenwriter runs out of courage or ideas, and the story unfolds in the typical three-star rating territory. Overall impression: 60%. ()

angielski A riotously funny comedy that keeps the laughter rolling from start to finish. The clever, witty script is packed with legendary phrases that have become synonymous with the film, and the acting by Martin Lawrence and Tim Robbins is both endearing and hilarious. One particularly unforgettable scene involves a pair of shoes catching fire, showcasing the duo's impeccable comedic timing and physical comedy skills. This uproarious film is guaranteed to leave you in stitches and serves as a perfect pick-me-up for any day. ()
