Sausage Party: Żarciotopia

The humour of Seth Rogen and his gang hits the mark time and time again, but it has to be said on a much smaller and less compact scale than in the film. Although the series brings many great ideas and funny scenes and often works cleverly with the use of "food", it also has a lot of empty and boring episodes where we don’t get much of anything. Similarly, the profanity is kind of weird, there are sequences that stick too close to the ground and are not "inappropriate" even once in a whole episode, but then there are scenes where the cadence of bad words is like machine gun fire, so it feels so strange, as if the creators don't really know what they want to get out of the series. The result is a kind of unglamorous mediocrity that has its bright moments (about four scenes had me clutching my stomach because we haven't seen human-food sex yet), but that also often gets lost and doesn't entertain that much...
