Think Christmas Vacation meets Meet the Parents, but with a Norwegian twist. The over-the-top antics of both the Norwegian family and the Indian guest make it hard to genuinely laugh. The movie soon dives into a series of absurd situations that, while somewhat funny, are pushed to the extreme. I debated giving it three stars but settled on two. Comedy like this needs a delicate touch to succeed, not just a barrage of outrageous scenes hoping for laughs.
