It will neither offend you nor will it take your breath away. Robin Williams is brilliant as always, Anton Yelchin is just average. The story is quite nicely written, but as something for the whole family it’s neither very funny nor very moving. Just average.

Sure, why not? David Duchovny didn't write a completely bad screenplay, although the reminiscing is definitely more interesting than the final resolution. Anton Yelchin already showed eleven years ago what a great actor he is, while Robin Williams didn't need to prove it anymore long ago. A great cast came together, making the film quite poetic and lovely, even though it has its depressing moments. But those also belong to it.
