The film didn't really work for me as a horror movie, but it did deliver as a solid psychological drama with a compelling atmosphere and occasional flashes of humor that teetered on the edge between dark and downright macabre — exactly my cup of tea. Far from a bloodbath, this film stayed more on the psychological end of the spectrum, and in my opinion, the creators nailed it. Their work resonated with me, though I did notice a couple of dull moments. Nevertheless, I found myself thoroughly entertained from start to finish, eagerly awaiting the final resolution. And let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. Morgan Saylor was a perfect fit for the role of Millicent. I'm typically turned off by hallucinogenic scenes, but here they felt like a seamless addition. / Lesson learned: Treatment with LSD? Hey, why not? After all, the folks at Bayer once sold heroin as children's cough medicine.
